Custom Ink Print Paper Shopping Bags

Here at American Retail Supply we offer five stock sizes of paper shopping bags in both natural kraft and white kraft (queen is only available in natural kraft).

We are excited to offer a low quantity printing option for 1 color ink prints on paper shopping bags. With that being said you can decide to have your bags printed on just one side or both sides with a print on the front and the back of the bag. The prices listed on this page are only for one color imprints, if you are interested in having a imprint with more than one color please reach out to our sales team to get a quote. 

When creating your custom bags it is important to know that within our imprint location you logo size can vary and so can the placement slightly, depending on your preference. Our default is to have the logo scaled to the largest it can be in the imprint location and center of the imprint area. 

Pick from 10 colors of water based ink. If you are interesting in getting a different PMS color than is offered please reach out to us about your options, additional charges may occur. Also if you are interested in having an imprint with more than one color reach out to our sales team to get a quote. 

We recommend all submitted artwork is 1 color and high quality, a vector image is best. Because Vector images are constructed with equations rather than pixels, there is no lost information when scaling. If you do not have a vector or 1 color artwork , art will then be edited by our team. Additional charges may occur for processing artwork. Converting artwork to a vector may result in minor changes. Your sales representative will keep you appraised of these changes; final artwork is always approved by the customer. After the artwork is edited to meet quality standards and plate specifications, a proof is created which gives you a visual template of how your logo will look on your bag according to your decisions about bag size, color, imprint location, artwork size, artwork location and ink color. This proof will be sent to you by your sales rep, for you to approve. if you would like changes to be made, this is the time to do so because after approval plates will be made. See below for a example of a blank proof for a cub sized bag below. 

After the artwork and proof is edited and approved, plates can be made. Plates are made out of a thick rubber and acts like a rubber stamp when imprinting the bags. Order 1000+ bags and receive a free plate on your order. If you plan to reorder your bags in the future we keep your plate on file, plates can be held on file for 5+ years, allowing you to receive bags because no new plate is needed, meaning no plate charge.

Once the plate is made the printing of the bags can begin. The rubber plate is adheared to the printing machine's roller and then lowered down to a specific height so the plate can reach the ink tray. Bags are then fed through the machine and the roller then imprint the bags as they roll through. The bags then have to sit out for a little bit for the ink to finish drying before being packed in boxes for shipping.

Each bag size should need a plate, unless bag sizes are sharing a plate. 

Orders 1000+ bags receive a free plate

Reorders will use the same plates as the previous order, no plate charge needed.
