The main use for Slatwall Brackets are to create your own shelves on Slatgrid or Slatwall Panels. You will simply slide two brackets into the slits of slatwall panels, place four shelf rests, and slide until it matches the width of your shelf. Another requirement you should consider is the length of the shelf because a shelf that fits snug into the brackets will be sturdy and provide the best support.
The types of shelves we have at American Retail Supply are melamine shelves (wood) or glass shelves. Using a glass shelf will require rubber cushions on the shelf rest to create suction and sit on the shelf. Otherwise, use the same shelf rest for melamine shelves but remove the cushions to drill a screw into the shelf to secure it.
We have two types of Slatwall brackets, standard brackets and heavy duty. The difference between the two Slatwall Brackets is the thickness of the rod and this thickness matters because not all shelf rests will fit precisely into the brackets. This metal shelf rest will only fit on standard brackets but this metal and plastic will fit on heavy duty bracket. Whichever bracket you pick we have the same colors: Black, White, and Chrome.
Slatwall brackets will create your very own free floating shelves on any Slatgrid or Slatwall panels from American Retail Supply. Call for any questions or to order over the phone, 1-800-426-5708.
